Saving for later or enjoying today?

What kind of a person are you: do you prefer to enjoy today and save later or save for later and work hard today?  Is it age dependent?  Economy dependent?  Geographical?  How do you budget, or do you budget?  Do you care at all?  Do you do both, enjoy and save?  How do you save?  How do you enjoy and what does that mean to you?  How do you let life not just pass by quickly?  These are some of the questions that I will look into and compare it to what people think or want and what actually happens in practice.. there are some interesting resources out there and I will be taking a few surveys.  I will summarize the data supported article later.  It will take time, probably more than a month.  However, in the meantime, feel free to share any ideas..
